The project
Website for Cube Media, an audiovisual production company, built directly in code instead of WordPress. The team edits texts and portfolio projects in Sanity CMS, without touching code or relying on plugins. The site is available in Spanish and English with localized routes, and navigation between pages uses cinematic transitions built on the View Transitions API, plus smooth scrolling and scroll-driven animations. It includes home, studio and team pages, a work section with a detail page per project, and a contact page with a validated form.
Architecture
Next.js 16 with the App Router and React 19 in TypeScript. Content comes from Sanity CMS through @sanity/client, with a stub client so the site does not crash when the CMS is unreachable. Localized Spanish and English routes with next-intl. Smooth scrolling with Lenis synced to GSAP ScrollTrigger, Framer Motion for interface animations, and support for prefers-reduced-motion. The contact form validates with zod, has an anti-abuse honeypot field and a request limit, and sends email through Resend. Tested with Vitest, Testing Library and fast-check.
